Kirk Bansak

Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at UC Berkeley. My research interests are in causal inference, experimental design and analysis, immigration policy, survey methodology, political economy, and computational social science. I am also a faculty affiliate of the Immigration Policy Lab at Stanford University and ETH Zurich.

My research has appeared or is forthcoming in Science, American Political Science Review, Political AnalysisJournal of Politics, Statistical SciencePolitical Science Research and Methods, Nature Human Behaviour, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series ALegislative Studies Quarterly, and the ACM Conference on Economics and Computation (EC).
